We started Engroot Consulting because too many good projects were being handed between specialists who never spoke to each other.
A mechanical issue became a materials issue became a controls issue, and each consultant answered only for their slice. Nobody owned the whole thing. Schedules slipped in the handoffs, and the client paid for it twice — once in fees and once in rework.
So we built a firm around the opposite idea: one team, five disciplines, and a single person accountable for the outcome. Our engineers work across mechanical, materials science, nanotechnology, nuclear and computer engineering, and our project managers stay on site through commissioning and turnover.
Quality, safety and long-term relationships, in that order. Most of our work comes from clients who have already worked with us once — which is the only satisfaction metric we think is worth quoting.
