Common questions
Yes — that is a substantial part of our practice. We review the design properly first: assumptions, loads, calculations, code edition and constructability. If the work is sound we seal it. If it isn't, we tell you exactly what needs to change. We do not seal work we haven't been able to review.
We do. Consulting, design, analysis and project management work is delivered across Canada. Sealing and certification are separate — those are tied to the provinces and disciplines our engineers are licensed in, so we confirm licensing for your jurisdiction before taking that scope on.
Smaller than most firms will. A single review, one sealed letter, a second opinion on a vendor's calculations — these are normal for us and often the start of a longer relationship. Tell us the scope and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right firm for it.
Frequently. Recovery work — delay analysis, schedule recovery, independent design review, cost forecasting — is something we're set up for. The earlier you bring us in the more options remain, but we've joined projects at every stage, including mid-construction.
